Introducing EPLAY by Players Revolution Sports

EPLAY by Players Revolution Sports is a digital, mobile app-centered experience designed to radically change adult rec sports. It dramatically improves the playing experience by placing total control in the palm of a player’s hands. Compared to traditional leagues and programs, its’ cheaper, more convenient, and combines all the desired functionality in one place – encouraging players to play for more often, and save valuable time and money.

The EPLAY app changes the landscape by creating an entire marketplace where players explore and design a personalized playing experience. This unique platform identifies just the right mix of teammates, game officials, facilities, opponents, as well as program structure, prizes, and scouting opportunities. The digital platform was created by former Match.com programmers, who applied similar technology via a proprietary “competition-assessing algorithm.” It takes the exact specifications of what a player wants out of their sports experience – on and off the court – and seeks to make this experience a reality.

A number of formats and structures are available for both single players and full teams – complete with paid and unpaid options, ranging from the casual and recreational all the way up to highly competitive. For serious individuals seeking to continue their careers, EPLAY extends their exclusive partnership with the NBA D-League’s Texas Legends for players to build up their resumes ahead of team tryouts. Programs offered through EPLAY include free pickups, open gyms, paid customizable individual games, paid traditional leagues, a new and exciting concept PICKUP LEAGUES (unique to EPLAY), as well as traditional and championship tournaments. No matter the commitment level or budget, thanks to mobile digital technology, EPLAY has a solution for every player.

HOW TO GET STARTED (if you are new or don’t have a team)

Pickup leagues are unique to Players Revolution, and are made possible by the EPLAY app. Taking place on a single day, pickup leagues consist of hour-long segments in which three randomly generated teams (by the proprietary LiveMatch© algorithm), play against each other in several ten minute games. All games are officiated by two referees and a scorekeeper. For this reason, all individual statistics are kept and count toward RCS eligible career statistics – meaning they count toward individual cash prizes and NBA D-League Texas Legends recruiting.

Whether you’re looking to meet new players or looking to build your resume, pickup leagues are a one-of-a-kind way to get playing without any long term commitments. Truly the best of both worlds.
